Pizanos

Fantastic pizza. We got a large pepperoni and cheese and it exactly what we were craving. Cheesy, the crust is perfect!

We’d been to a few places recommended inTaos and not overly impressed, happened to spontaneously pull in here after a long morning hiking, BINGO! Don’t let the simple looks of the exterior fool you, this was some of the best pizza we’ve ever had- and they even had a gluten free crust option for my hubby...& it was wonderful! Most especially were the folks working there... super nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend and we will be back!

Sat outside with a wonderful view of the mountains. Got seated instantly and the service was kind and quick. The food came out quick and hot. Had the cheese pizza and OMG it was amazing! Best pizza in Taos by far! Also tried the pesto penne with chicken and was really good as well. Will definitely be coming back!

The pizza here is just how I like my pizza! The perfect crust, not doughy or too thick or too thin. There’s not too much extra cheese or sauce or any grease. They put just the right amount of toppings on! I made my own with green and black olives, spinach, garlic, feta and my partner got the fire twirler; both were so good!!! I’m an avid breadstick and salad girl and I was impressed with both! The breadsticks have a great cheese and Mariana dipping sauce and the spinach salad was loaded with toppings. The salad plate was honestly too small for the amazing salad though so maybe a bigger plate would be nice so I can tear it up. We sat outside during a rain storm and luckily came prepared with sweaters and long pants to do so. For me, the patio is the second best part after the pizza! The unobstructed mountain views are stunning!!! We ordered pick up here once and it was a 1 hours wait at 7pm on a Saturday. It makes sense, but I wasn’t expecting 1 hour, so that’s why the 4 star service. We went back on a Thursday and were seated outside 5:15 and were leaving by 6:15. The waiting staff was super great giving refills and taking away empty plates as we finished things. Loved our orders here and we definitely plan to eat out again!

Great little shop. The pizza was good and the house salad was fresh and great. We got a small pepperoni and green Chile for lunch and it was perfect for the two of us. We especially loved the view from the porch. We wish the fence wasn’t there ;)

We were visiting from California best pasta ever big portions and for 7 people I spent like 80 dollars only i was shocked. But food and staff very friendly!

GLUTEN FREE options were great. First time we have see GF pizzas in more than one size (they're usually only available in 8" to 10"). Pizanos has full-sized large GF with the best GF crusts we've ever tried. Our table of 10 had everything from Eggplant Parm to the above mentioned GF pizza to their great sandwiches ("tunnels") and everything was amazing and the server was patient with our questions and provided fantastic service. Great views of the mountains from the outside deck. Can't recommend highly enough!
